

Safiyah (R.A.A.), the daughter of Abdul Muttalib, was an honorable companion of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.). Her mother, Hala was the daughter of Waheeb and cousin of the Holy Prophet’s (S.A.W.) revered mother Amina. In consanguinity, Safiyah (R.A.A.) was cousin as well as aunt of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.), Hamza (R.A.A.) was her real brother.
Abu Abdullah Khabbab bin Aratt belonged to the famous Arab tribe, Banu Tameem, He is known in history among those great companions of the Prophet (S.A.W.) who gave up their everything for the cause of Islam and were treated most tyrannically by the enemies of Allah.
Abu Abdullah Salman Faria (R.A.A.) is reckoned among those companions who were specially close to the Prophet (S.A.W.), He had a distinct position among the companions of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) for his devotion and continence, knowledge and wisdom and understanding of the Faith, All the Muslim schools of thoughts have general consensus of opinion about his knowledge, devotion and perception of Deen. The greatest testimony to his knowledge and intelligence is the following statement of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.),
Bilal Ibn Rabah, the first Muazzin of Islam, was one of the most trusted and loyal companion of Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.).He was a true model of the morals and customs of Islam. He cherished unbounded love for the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) and was deeply devoted to Islam. He was a staunch foe of the infidels and idolaters but this involved no personal feelings. He held the infidels in deep contempt because they were the enemies of Islam and the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.).
Abu Zar Ghifari acclaimed the Kalima and entered into the fold of Islam when none but Khadija (R.A.A.), Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A.A.), Ali (K.A.A.) and Zaid Bin Harisa (R.A.A.) had accepted Islam, Thus Abu Zar was one of the first ten Muslims, In Islamic history he is known as one of the most candid, frank and straight forward companions of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.). He always expressed the truth at the risk of incurring displeasure of others. His statements were always prompted by regard for truth, free from disguise or bias and without regard for friendship or otherwise. His heart was pure and unsophisticated.
